Mandarin Translator - Fluent in Chinese & Indonesian

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bridging communication gaps between our Indonesian operations and Chinese-speaking partners, clients, and suppliers. Your fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian will be crucial in ensuring seamless communication and fostering strong business relationships.

As a Mandarin Translator at PT Legend Packaging Indonesia, you will be responsible for translating documents, emails, and other written materials between Chinese and Indonesian. You will also facilitate meetings and negotiations between our Indonesian team and Chinese counterparts, ensuring that all parties understand each other's needs and expectations. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Translate documents, emails, and other written materials accurately and efficiently between Chinese and Indonesian.
• Facilitate meetings and negotiations between Indonesian and Chinese-speaking parties, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Review and edit translations to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of translation databases and glossaries.
• Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and trends to provide high-quality translations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communication and translation tasks.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Indonesian, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in translation, preferably in the business or industrial sector.
• Proficiency in using translation software such as Trados, memoQ, or SDL Trados.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and business etiquette in both Chinese and Indonesian contexts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and discreet demeanor, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
